After completing the “Dick Smith Advanced Makeup Course” with American artist Dick Smith and receiving training from professional sculptors at the “Florence Academy of Art” in Florence, Italy, Santiago discovered that his true calling was sculpture, not prosthetic design.
In 2011, he founded Dunka Studio (a professional sculpture workshop), now located in the Alicante town of Onil. From his studio/workshop, he creates hyperrealistic sculptures for various fields, ranging from the medical sector to the toy industry.
“I think something our clients value greatly, and something that is crucial to our work, is our ability to bring the ideas they have in their heads to life.”
